Central Queensland University (CQU) ก่อตั้งในปี ค.ศ.1967 CQUถูกจัดให้เป็น 1 ใน 3มหาวิทยาลัยของประเทศออสเตรเลียที่ได้คะแนนระดับ 5 ดาว ตลอด 4 ปีที่ผ่านมา จากการจัดอันดับของ The Good Universities Guide มหาวิทยาลัยนี้มีหลายวิทยาเขตที่ตั้งอยู่ในเมืองต่างๆที่สำคัญของประเทศออสเตรเลีย และนอกประเทศออสเตรเลีย แคมปัสหลัก คือ Rockhapton Campusอยู่ที่เมืองซิดนีย์ ส่วนแคมปัสอื่นๆ ได้แก่ Brisbane Campus, Gold Coast Campus, Melbourne Campus, Campus, Emerald Campus, Gladstone Campus, Mackay Campus, Noosa Campus และอีก 1 แคมปัสที่ประเทศสิงค์โปร์ CQU เปิดสอนในระดับปริญญาตรีมากกว่า 60 หลักสูตร และระดับปริญญาโทมากกว่า 40 หลักสูตร ซึ่งโปรแกรมที่ได้รับความนิยมจากนักศึกษานานาชาติได้แก่ โปรแกรมธุรกิจสารสนเทศ มัลติมิเดีย ชีวการแพทย์ จิตวิทยา พยาบาล การศึกษา วิศวกรรมศาสตร์ และวิทยาศาสตร์ เป็นต้น CQU มีนักศึกษาที่มาจากทั่วโลกมากกว่า 100 ประเทศ ทางมหาวิทยาลัย มีทุนการศึกษาให้สำหรับนักศึกษาที่ศึกษาโปรแกรม MBA ซึ่งสามารถลดค่าเล่าเรียนได้ประมาณ 33%

เกณฑ์การรับสมัครเรียน
เรียนปริญญาตรีต้องมีผลคะแนนสอบ IELTS = 6.0
เรียนปริญญาโทต้องมีผลคะแนนสอบ IELTS = 6.0
กรณีที่ผลคะแนน IELTS ไม่ถึงตามเกณฑ์ที่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด สามารถเรียน EAP เพิ่มเติมกับ DUELI* และเมื่อจบหลักสูตรแล้วสามารถเข้าศึกษาปริญญาตรีหรือปริญญาโทได้ทันที
