เมือง Dunedin
ตั้งอยู่ในภูมิภาค Otago ในเกาะใต้ของประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ เป็นเมืองชายทะเลที่มีหาดทราย และอ่าวธรรมชาติที่สวยงาม นับเป็นเมืองที่สำคัญทางเศรษฐกิจและการศึกษาแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศ ประชากรกว่า 120,000 คน มีศิลปวัฒนธรรมที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ เห็นได้จากสถาปัตยกรรมสไตล์ Victorian และ Edwardian, พิพิธภัณฑ์, โรงละคร, หอสมุด, และศูนย์ศิลปะ ภายในเมืองยังเรียงรายไปด้วยร้านอาหาร, ร้านกาแฟ, ศูนย์การค้า, รวมถึงร้านค้าหัตถกรรมต่างๆ นอกจากสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวภายในเมืองแล้ว เมือง Dunedin ยังอยู่ใกล้แหล่งท่องเที่ยวอีกมากมายในภูมิภาค Otago เช่น ชายหาด Dunedin และ St Clair, ทะเลสาบ Wanaka, ภูเขา, น้ำตก, ป่าฝน, และสัตว์ป่านานาพันธุ์ รวมถึงนกเพนกวินและนกแอลบาทรอส ซึ่งเป็นสัตว์ท้องถิ่นของประเทศ และยังมีกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจอีกมากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นเล่นวินด์เซิร์ฟ, เล่นเรือใบ, เรือคายาค, เรือแคนู, ตกปลา, ปีนเขา, บันจี้จัมพ์ ในฤดูร้อน หรือจะเป็นเล่นสกีและสโนว์บอร์ดในฤดูหนาวก็ตาม เมือง Dunedin จัดเป็นเมืองที่น่าท่องเที่ยวที่สุดแห่งหนึ่งในประเทศ
มหาวิทยาลัย University of Otago ก่อตั้งขึ้นในปี ค.ศ. 1869 เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่เก่าแก่ที่สุดในประเทศนิวซีแลนด์ มีวิทยาเขต 5 แห่ง ในเมืองหลักของประเทศ คือ Dunedin, Southland, Christchurch, Wellington, และ Auckland วิทยาเขตหลักตั้งอยู่ในเมือง Dunedin ประกอบด้วยคณะธุรกิจ สาธารณสุขศาสตร์ มนุษยศาสตร์ และวิทยาศาสตร์ เปิดสอนหลักสูตรทั้ง ป.ตรี ป.โท ป.เอก ประกาศนียบัตร และภาษาอังกฤษสำหรับนักเรียนต่างชาติทุกระดับ มหาวิทยาลัยเป็นเลิศทางวิชาการและการวิจัย ทั้งทางด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ การแพทย์ สาธารณสุข ไปจนถึงสังคมและสิ่งแวดล้อมในปัจจุบัน ดำเนินการสอนโดยคณาจารย์ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิและเชี่ยวชาญในสาขาเฉพาะทาง นอกจากนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยยังมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกในการเรียนและการดำเนินชีวิตของนักศึกษา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นหอพัก ศูนย์กีฬา ชมรม ศูนย์ให้คำปรึกษาแก่นักศึกษาต่างชาติ ศูนย์ภาษาอังกฤษ ศูนย์การเรียนรู้ โรงพยาบาล หอสมุด พร้อมห้องคอมพิวเตอร์มากกว่า 30 แห่ง ทั่วมหาวิทยาลัย

เรียนปริญญาตรีต้องมีผลคะแนนสอบ IELTS = 6.0 แต่ละ Band ต้องไม่ต่ำกว่า 6.0
เรียนปริญญาโทต้องมีผลคะแนนสอบ IELTS = 6.5 แต่ละ Band ต้องไม่ต่ำกว่า 6.0
กรณีที่ผลคะแนน IELTS ไม่ถึงตามเกณฑ์ที่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด สามารถเรียนหลักสูตร English for Otago (EFO) เพิ่มเติมกับทาง University of Otagoและเมื่อจบหลักสูตรแล้วสามารถเข้าศึกษาปริญญาตรีหรือปริญญาโทได้ทันที แต่นักศึกษาต้องผ่านเกณฑ์ตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดไว้
