Gold Coast เป็นเมืองชายทะเลที่สวยงาม และมีชาดหาดความยาวกว่า 70 กิโลเมตร หรือที่เรียกกันว่าชายหาดสีทองของนักวินเซิร์ฟ ด้วยสภาพอากาศที่ดี และอุณหภูมิในช่วงฤดู spring, winter และ autumn ที่ไม่มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงมาก ทำให้อุณหภูมิเฉลี่ยตลอดทั้งปีของเมืองGold Coast อยู่ที่ประมาณ 11 25 องศาเซลเซียส
สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวที่มีชื่อเสียงที่สุดก็จะเป็นชายหาด Surfer Paradise ที่เป็นแนวชายหาดยาวตลอดเมืองGold Coast มีแหล่งชอปปิ้ง ร้านอาหาร และจุดชมวิวตลอดแนวชายหาด และเหมาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับนักเล่น surf นอกจากนั้นยังมี มูฟวี่เวิลด์ หรือที่เรืยกกันว่า ฮอลิวู้ดแห่งGold Coast ที่คล้าย ๆ กับย่อหนังในฮอลิวู้ดมาตั้งไว้ที่เดียวในเมืองGold Coast และสวนน้ำที่ใหญ่ที่สุดอย่าง Wet and Wild Water World
การเดินทางค่อนข้างสะดวกเนื่องจากมีรถบัสบริการตลอด โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งจะมีร้านอาหารไทย ที่มีอยู่เป็นจำนวนมากในย่าน Surfer Paradise และเหมาะกับนักศึกษไทยที่ต้องการหางาน Part-Time ทำด้วย
Bond University เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยเอกชนชั้นนำแห่งหนึ่งของประเทศออสเตรเลีย ตั้งอยู่ที่ใจกลางเมือง Gold Coast อยู่ทางตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ของรัฐ Queensland มีนักศึกษาประมาณ 4,000 คน นักศึกษาส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นชาวออสเตรเลีย มีนักศึกษานานาชาติ ประมาณ 50 % ของนักศึกษาทั้งหมด ในหนึ่งปีการศึกษา Bond University เปิดสอน 3 ภาคเรียน จึงทำให้นักศึกษาที่เรียนหลักสูตรปริญญาตรีของมหาวิทยาลัยแห่งนี้ใช้ระยะเวลาเรียนเพียง 2 ปี และปริญญาโทเพียง 1 ปี

เกณฑ์การรับสมัครเรียน
เรียนปริญญาตรีต้องมีผลคะแนนสอบ IELTS = 6.0
เรียนปริญญาโทต้องมีผลคะแนนสอบ IELTS = 6.5
กรณีที่ผลคะแนน IELTS ไม่ถึงตามเกณฑ์ที่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด สามารถเรียน EAP เพิ่มเติมกับทางมหาวิทยาลัยและเมื่อจบหลักสูตรแล้วสามารถเข้าศึกษาปริญญาตรีหรือปริญญาโทได้ทันที
