University of Tasmania, Hobart
University of Tasmania (UTAS) ก่อตั้งในปี ค.ศ. 1890 จัดเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่เก่าแก่อันดับที่ 4 ของประเทศออสเตรเลีย UTAS มี 3 แคมปัส คือ Hobart, Launceston และ Cradle Coast โดยปกติแล้วนักศึกษาต่างชาติจะเรียนและพักอยู่ที่ Hobart แคมปัส และ Launceston แคมปัส แต่ที่ Cradle Coast จะไม่มีนักศึกษาชาวต่างชาติเรียน UTAS มีนักศึกษามากกว่า 19,000 คน เป็นนักศึกษาชาวออสเตรเลียประมาณ 15,000 คน ส่วนที่เหลือเป็นนักศึกษาชาวต่างชาติ UTAS จัดเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกมากมายสำหรับนักศึกษา เช่น ร้านขายหนังสือ ร้านอาหาร ห้องสมุดมหาวิทยาลัย Internet ความเร็วสูง ห้องฟิตเนต ห้องเต้นแอโรบิก สนามออกกำลังกายกลางแจ้ง และสนามออกกำลังกายในร่ม เป็นต้น ยิ่งไปกว่านั้นทางมหาวิทยาลัยจัดให้มี International Student Advisors ที่คอยให้คำปรึกษาทั้งเรื่องการเรียนและการทำงานชั่วคราวสำหรับนักศึกษาชาวต่างชาติ มีคลาสเรียนฟรีสำหรับฝึกทักษะภาษาอังกฤษ ศูนย์สุขภาพ มีสถานประกอพิธีกรรมของศาสนาอิสลาม รวมถึง มีบริการรับนักศึกษาที่สนามบินฟรี เมื่อนักเรียนมาถึง

เกณฑ์การรับสมัครเรียน
เรียนปริญญาตรีต้องมีผลคะแนนสอบ IELTS = 6.0
เรียนปริญญาโทต้องมีผลคะแนนสอบ IELTS = 6.0
กรณีที่ผลคะแนน IELTS ไม่ถึงตามเกณฑ์ที่ทางมหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด สามารถเรียนคอร์ส Direct Entry Academic Program (DEAP) เพิ่มเติมกับ University of Tasmania และเมื่อจบหลักสูตรแล้วสามารถเข้าศึกษาปริญญาตรีหรือปริญญาโทได้ทันที แต่นักศึกษาต้องผ่านเกณฑ์ตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนดไว้
